Well Everyone, this is my first time doing this...I'm not sure who I'll tell about this yet, but if I haven't told you about it, and you just happen upon this site, welcome! Let me introduce myself. My name is Caren, and I am married to a wonderful man. In November, I will be giving birth to our first child, Katy Grace. So we think its a girl, and the Ultrasound Technician said she was 99% sure it was too. But if Katy Grace comes out a boy, his name will be Liam. Either way I'll be happy. But for right now, most of what consumes my mind is getting everything together before the baby comes, and worrying about the acutal labor process. But I also know that tons of other women have gone through the same process, and most of them live. So I have hope :)
Yesterday was my youngest brother's 14th birthday. Happy Birthday Andrew! After recently being home in VA for a few weeks, I've found that I can't really call any of my brothers my "little" brothers any more. They are all bigger than me now. Sam is in the Marines, and about 6' 1", Mike is in College, and he's about 6' 2", and Andrew is in the 8th grade, 5' 11" and he weighs about 200 lbs.! He's huge! We keep telling him he better go out for football or wrestling or something that requires you be a big strong man. He's the biggest out of all of us right now, and he's very proud of that fact :)
My Grandma Lois is supposed to be coming home from the hospital today. She had a hip replacement almost 2 weeks ago, and has been in rehab for the past week. She's very fragile right now. If I was closer to them, I'd help take care of her, but since I live in NY, I really can't do that. Its hard though. Hopefully she's not in too much pain.
